This blog started off as a no-holds barred, uncensored journal to eventually share with my daughter, Gulabo (G), about my life as a mum. I wanted a record of the little things & passing thoughts that get conveniently forgotten over time. It’s an account that’s sometimes sweet, sometimes funny, and always real.

Speaking of real…. it’s only when she was 3 that I finally found the time to start a blog! With Baby #2, Naarangi (N), I started documenting 3 months in… you can tell I’m improving with age 🙂

So on this blog, you’ll simultaneously find my account of life with a newborn, a toddler, an elementary child – and every fun, frustrating, unforgettable phase in between! I also write about adoption, since it’s one of the ways in which we grew our family.
